Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 9, 2026

I get movin helps you build the habit of being active, by finding the free, good-weather gaps in your week and booking them for you. To do that it works with a home location you set, optionally your calendar, and the workouts you already record in Apple Health. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

1. Our approach to privacy

We collect the least data needed to run I get movin, and we never sell it. Some data — like your booked sessions and, if you connect a calendar, an encrypted token that lets us read and update it — must be stored on our servers so the app can schedule and reschedule activities for you while your device is asleep. Apple Health access is read-only: we read a workout to tick off a session you had scheduled, and store only a summary of it (when it started, how long it lasted, how far it went). Each category is described below.

2. What data we collect

Account

When you sign in with Apple, we receive an email address (which may be Apple's private relay address) and a unique account identifier. We use these to create and secure your account.

Google Calendar (with your permission)

If you connect Google Calendar, you grant I get movin access through Google's OAuth consent screen. We then:

I get movin only reads and writes calendar data to provide the scheduling features you request. You can disconnect Google at any time from Settings, which revokes and deletes the stored token.

Location

I get movin does not track your location in the background, does not record GPS routes, and does not follow you during an activity. The app holds no background-location capability at all.

Health & fitness (Apple HealthKit)

With your permission, and read-only, I get movin reads:

The app never writes anything to Apple Health, and never reads your heart rate. When a workout completes a session, we store a summary on our servers — start time, duration, distance, and the workout type Apple reports. Nothing else leaves the Health store. Health data is never used for advertising, marketing, or analytics, and is never sold or shared with third parties.

Preferences & schedule

Your scheduling settings — preferred days, times of day, sessions per week, whether to avoid high UV or minimize rain, and whether auto-scheduling is on — so I get movin can plan around your routine.

Activity & session data

The sessions I get movin suggests and books, their scores, and a weather snapshot taken when a slot is booked.

Subscription

I get movin requires an active Pro subscription, sold as an auto-renewing subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple; we never see your card or payment details. Subscription status is managed through RevenueCat, which assigns an app user identifier tied to your account so we can provide access to the app.

App Store advertising attribution

If you install I get movin after seeing an Apple Ads placement on the App Store, the app asks Apple for a privacy-preserving AdServices attribution token and sends it to RevenueCat. Apple and RevenueCat use it to tell us which Apple Ads campaign, ad group, or keyword led to an install and subscription outcome. This does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA), does not request permission to track, and is not used to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Diagnostics

Our servers keep minimal operational logs (for example, timestamps and error information) to keep the service reliable and secure.

3. How we use your data

We do not serve ads inside the app or build advertising profiles. We use only the App Store attribution described above to measure our own Apple Ads campaigns.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers listed below that make I get movin work, and only as needed to provide the service, or when required by law. Payment details are handled solely by Apple.

5. Third-party services

6. Google user data (Limited Use)

I get movin's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, we use Google Calendar data only to provide and improve I get movin's scheduling features; we do not transfer or sell it; we do not use it for advertising; and no humans read it except with your explicit consent, to comply with the law, or as necessary for security or to operate the service. You can review or revoke I get movin's access anytime at your Google Account permissions.

7. Storage & security

Data in transit is protected with HTTPS/TLS. Your Google refresh token is encrypted at rest with a dedicated key. Access to production systems is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data using industry-standard measures.

8. Retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. Disconnecting Google removes the stored calendar token.

Deleting your account. You can delete your account at any time from inside the app: Settings › Delete account, directly beneath Sign out. When you do, we immediately:

What remains afterwards is anonymized: a record that a session of some length happened on some date, with nothing left on it that points back to you, kept so our own aggregate statistics stay correct. Signing in with Apple again creates a brand-new, empty account — the old one cannot be recovered.

You can also email igetmovingapp@gmail.com to request deletion. We may retain limited records where the law requires it. Deleting your account does not cancel an I get movin Pro subscription — Apple bills that, and it is cancelled in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.

9. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact igetmovingapp@gmail.com.

10. California rights (CCPA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, to opt out of the "sale" of personal information (we do not sell personal information), and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Contact us to make a request.

11. Children's privacy

I get movin is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

12. iOS permissions

You can change any of these anytime in the iOS Settings app.

13. App Store privacy labels

Consistent with Apple's privacy "nutrition label":

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by email. Continued use of I get movin after an update means you accept the revised policy.
